Geography
Geography is the study of the physical features of the Earth, which includes cities, forests, mountains, oceans and rivers. Below you can find all kinds of interesting places on our dear planet Earth to visit. To make it easier to find them, the places are categorized per district.
Amt Aldáer
Aegheria is a district located in the North-West of the region and consists of two major cities, namely Lutheria and Alden. Because of this, the district is of high importance and houses both a religious as a economic centre. Besides the cities, the district is primarily covered by a large forest and open rural area, mostly overseen by the two cities.
The City of Lutheria is one of the main cities in the Region of Kilden and is situated along the important trade route to Belthem. It is located in the district of Aegheria but has an independent status and thus serves as a sovereign district. The city is built on a sacred hill called Scheddelsted, on which a large abbey towers above the streets, named Wingchere Abbey. Lutheria is considered a place of all religions since residents are free to practice their faith. Because of this, Lutheria has attracted all kinds of people and has become a melting pot of cultures.

Elfter Park is a neighbourhood in the city of Lutheria. It is mostly known for the Lutherian cemetery and a large park, which gives the area its name. The cemetery is known for still using the old tradition of cremating the deceased and then placing the ashes in a family grave. In addition to the cemetery, Elfter Park is home to the The Latin School and the city's library. The Baptistery of St. John is also located here. Before Lutheria became a city of free religion, it was governed by Christian and Protestant leaders. They required every resident or visitor to be baptized before entering the city. The Baptistery of St. John, situated near the main city gate, was used for this purpose. Newcomers had to enter the city through Elfter Park while praying. Nowadays, Elfter Park is a popular spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peaceful time in nature. It's also a place where people often visit and honour their ancestors.

Hillgate Cross is a neighbourhood in the city of Lutheria. In 1865, the neighbourhood, and thus the city, was connected to a railroad between the Kingdoms of the Netherlands and Hanover. The old city gate, from which the neighbourhood derives its name, was replaced by a station building. With the arrival of the railway, several businesses and factories quickly appeared, instantly making Hillgate Cross the economic centre of the city and the district. As a result, many historic buildings and homes were lost, angering the residents of Lutheria. Several petitions have started to keep the neighbourhood from expanding, and people fear losing their city to the growing industrialization.

Hols Dock is a neighbourhood located in the city of Lutheria. It is situated outside the city walls near the source of the river Holle. The neighbourhood consists of a small port. Since the river often has a low water level, only boats with a flat bottom, like the ""Zomp"", were used. They often carried supplies from other farms in the region. The port also contains boats for recreational use. With the arrival of the new railway, transport via the port became less popular almost overnight, leaving the port in disrepair. Currently, funds are collected to repair the port, since it is the first neighbourhood people see when entering Lutheria via the main gate.

Loór is a neighborhood in the city of Lutheria, often known as the political and financial district of both Lutheria and Aegheria. Many public buildings, such as the city hall, hospital, and prison, are located here. The neighborhood also hosts the city's weekly market, attracting people from all social classes and nearby areas. Loór serves as the city's calling card when important visitors from around the world arrive. It is kept in pristine condition and is separated from other neighborhoods by guarded gates. Monk's Court is a neighbourhood in the city of Lutheria. It was originally an extension of Wingchere Abbey and housed clergymen serving the abbey. Nowadays, anyone willing to pay can live here. Land prices in Monk's Court are incredibly high because it is close to Dom Káerdos and St. Mary's Chapel. Only the elite can afford to live here, most notably the Mervell family, who have a residence here. Their estate is located in the old small monastery belonging to St. Mary's Chapel. Although built much later than the chapel, the estate is still older than Dom Káerdos.

The neighborhood's gates are heavily guarded and close at night to protect nearby areas from disturbances.

Amt Aldáer
The District of Vöhren is located on the border between the Kingdoms of the Netherlands and Hanover. Most of the area is covered by a dense, ancient forest called Grenn forest. Over time, parts of the forest were cleared for wood production, and in the cleared areas, people began building houses and farms. Initially, most people relied on the forest and kept animals like sheep and poultry. As the open areas expanded, they started farming crops and raising cattle as well. The river Kild, which forms the eastern border of Vöhren, supplies water to the area and keeps it fertile. However, due to years of overfarming and deforestation, the soil quality has rapidly decreased. The fertile open spaces have slowly turned into barren fields where only heather can grow. Nowadays, the remaining farmers struggle with the soil and can barely survive.
To protect the ecological value of the forest and river, most of Grenn forest in Vöhren has been preserved. Wood production is limited, and residents must replant trees to prevent further decline. Fishing rights are restricted, and efforts to boost biodiversity are encouraged. In just a few years, some extinct animal and plant species in the area have returned, enhancing both biodiversity and soil quality.
Vöhren is divided into three neighbourhoods: Walden, Denron, and Roven. The Walda family owns the Walden while Roven is centered around a manor house. Denron, on the other hand, does not have a single landlord or lady. Instead, it is collectively owned by the landowners, who are mostly farmers or large institutions.

Denron is a neighbourhood situated in the District of Vöhren, which is a part of Amt Aldáer. The community is predominantly inhabited by farmers, with the most notable estates being Lutz, Lympha and Hochter. These estates are either owned by the inhabitant or an external person, such as a landlord, baron or marquess. Before 1798 however, the whole neighbourhood was managed by the Rhodon family, who resided at Fieldfare Manor. Because of the patriotic movement and financial problems, the family had to sell their shares of the land and move out. Fieldfare Manor now stands derelict.
The majority of the neighbourhood is covered by a dense, ancient pine forest known as ""Grenn forest"". This forest is protected due to its age and ecological value, with only small portions developed into farmland. Grenn Forest is utilized for agroforestry, where various crops are grown amidst the ancient trees, including fruit and nut trees, mushrooms, as well as locally present species like juniper, cranberry, and blackberries. Additionally, animals such as sheep, chickens, and deer are raised by man in the forest.
In the southeast of the neighbourhood lies a raised bog, an extension of the Wester Wüste. The bogland is utilized for peat mining, and the ponds are used for retting flax.

Walden is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the Vöhren district in Amt Aldáer. It has been owned by the Walda family for decades, with Sjoerd Walda as the current Landlord/Baron. The main house on the land is the farm Grennsted, where the Walda family resides. Scattered around the area are small farms, mostly owned by cottagers or used by Grennsted labourers.
A large part of the neighbourhood is covered by Grenn forest, an ancient forest with a high ecological value that is protected by the Walda family. Additionally, sections of the rivers Kild and Holle are also protected due to their contribution to the biodiversity of the neighbourhood and district. In addition to the main farm Grennsted, there is a watermill called ""The Black Poplar"" located on the banks of the river Holle. The mill is used not only by residents of the Walden estate but also by people from other areas. Currently, the watermill is used as a flour mill, oil press, and sawmill.
