Arendt Lutz
Arendt Lutz was born on March 30, 1853 as the second child of Bernardus Lutz and Helena Hahn at the Lutz family estate in the district of Vöhren. His older brother is Theo Lutz. Unlike Theo's difficult birth, Helena's pregnancy with Arendt went very smoothly and without any complications. However, Bernardus Lutz was very nervous about the pregnancy, due to the difficult time he had during the birth of his first child, for which he felt responsible. To cope with this, Bernardus locked himself away in his shed or worked extremely long hours to avoid his feelings. Helena tried to convince him to be present and assured him that she was doing fine. Yet, Bernardus distanced himself both physically and emotionally. When Arendt Lutz was born, Bernardus barely looked at him – almost as if he was afraid of Arendt.
Arendt felt disconnected from his father and sought love and attention from his mother instead. Despite trying to reach out to Bernardus, he was often ignored and sometimes even bullied, as his father clearly favoured his eldest son and heir. Arendt felt responsible for this and made great efforts to make others happy and not walk in the way. He formed a close bond with his grandmother, Josephina, and spent a lot of time with his older brother, Theo.
Arendt, like his brother, had to work on the farm, but he had more freedom to do his own business because his father was not paying that much attention to him. He developed a sense of adventure and was continuously daydreaming about the travels he would make. In his free time, Arendt went for long walks in the forest or open fields where he studied nature, built huts, and meticulously mapped every detail of it.
Arendt bears a striking resemblance to his mother, with their intense and fierce-looking eyebrows and eyes that convey both sadness and strength. He shares his mother's soft mouth and green eyes, giving him a somewhat enigmatic appearance. It seems as though he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, but there's also a sense of kindness and empathy about him. Arendt inherited his length from his father, measuring 184cm. He has a slender figure and weighs 64kg.

Lutz Farm is a small farm located in the Denron neighbourhood of the Vöhren district. The Lutz family has been the proud owners and operators of the farm for centuries. They grow a variety of crops, including Rye, Buckwheat, and Flax. The rye and buckwheat are used partly for personal consumption and partly sold to locals. The flax produced on the farm is processed into linen fabric, which is then traded with Boutique Vos. In addition to crops, Lutz Farm also raises cattle for milk and meat. Some of the cattle are sold to locals. Recently, the farm has placed a greater emphasis on producing flax to create high-quality intricate linen fabrics.Family

Zev is the pet of Arendt Lutz. He is a purebred Australian Shepherd and was born as the youngest of the litter on March 30, 1863 (on the birthday of Arendt). While his siblings were all adopted and went to homes in Prussia, Zev remained in Kilden to be adopted by the Lutz family as a birthday present for Arendt Lutz. Arendt had to wait for a few weeks before he was able to pick Zev up since he was still too young to be adopted. The two developed a strong and inseparable relationship. Arendt takes his dog with him on his adventures and Zev is often his sole companion. Zev sleeps on his bed in his bedroom, and the two even have lunch together during work.
