The Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized dog breed known for its intelligence, agility, and unique appearance. It has a dense, weather-resistant double coat that can be straight or wavy and comes in various colour combinations. The eyes are often their most distinctive feature, with shades of blue, amber, brown, or even heterochromatic.   Australian Shepherds are strong-built, standing between 46 and 58 cm and weighing between 18 and 29 kg. They are built for herding and love to run, hunt, and work. They require exercise and stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. They are very loyal, affectionate, and protective of their owners, making them excellent family pets and working dogs.
