Tenebris: Do you ever feel like your only purpose is to be the background character, like no matter what you do, you're never the one who changes the story?
Niki: Well, If everyone was the main character, this " Story” would never move forward. If everything everyone did was important. . .
(Tenebris is sitting on the ledge of a cliff with niki laying on his shoulder)
Tenebris: Then nothing would be.
Niki: This world may be full of background characters, but every single one has a story to tell.
Tenebris: What's my story then?
(they pause)
Tenebris: Please don't say I have to go.
Kane: Tenebris we have a mission to get to
Tenebris: (looks sad) you can go without me
Niki: if there's a mission you have to go
Tenebris: it can wait till later
Niki: It can’t
Tenebris: But I don't ever want to leave this moment with you.
Kane: Tenebris ( tenebris looks back at kane now with X’s over his eyes) it’s time….
Niki (with X’s over eyes) : You have to…
Kane and niki: wake up
Tenebris: No! (Tenebris wakes up crying hundreds of years later and looks at his arm with bandages ripped and falling off with a ring glowing and he looks around his room now a mess )
That day, I should have never left. I should have never gone with him, I should've never woke up. (the screen goes black)
CHAPTER 1 THE PAST BETWEEN US
(Tenebris: is walking outside in a field past ruined buildings) (cut to a shot of him holding an ax)
(He walks into the forest and a shadowy figure looks from behind trees) ( he continues to a clearing and cuts down a tree)( he goes to chop it and it cuts to a fireplace) (cut to a monument with a glowing stone in the center overgrown by weeds and flowers) (cut back to tenebris as He sits down. staring into the fire as it cuts to him watching ships blazing and snaps back to the kettle boiling)
(he stands up and walks over to make some tea as he sits at his table the window cracks and he catches a rock thrown at him and he sees something outside, he quickly runs outside knocking over the tea. He follows the shadow into the night. )
Tenebris:(sees the shadow run behind a building)..Hey!(runs after it)(he runs around just missing the shadow each time. Tenebris then turns around a house into a clearing into the forest)
Tenebris: Hey! Who Are you!? How did you get here!? (he continues following and comes to a building sunken into the ground) (The figure walks in)
Tenebris: what is this place…(his rings start glowing)(he slides into the building and lights his hand with a white fire. He walks further in and sees scrolls and finds that its a library)
Tenebris: I remember this place… (the torches blaze with a blue fire and the library is lit)
Voice: welcome Tenebris, The immortal Son of Tempura.
Tenebris: (turns around to see the figure he had been chasing who looks like a spirit) Who are you? What is this place? Why did you break my window!?
Spirit: I will answer your questions but you must listen to me first.
Tenebris: no I don't, tell me who you are and what this place is now.
Spirit: “Hough”…This is the library of Taresseus, the first immortal. This island's grand connection to the emotional powers has allowed my spirit, which was already connected to this place, to be able to manifest in the corporeal.
Tenebris: . . . o_o…
Spirit: this is Taresseus library and MY spirit is able to manifest here which means..
Tenebris: OHH…your Taresseus… YOUR TARESESSEUS the founder of tempura!? Or the spirit of him at least.
Taresseus: Yes, I have manifested to..
Tenebris: you broke my window!
Taresseus: …well I had to get your attention somehow and I am spirit locked to this place so..
Tenebris: but that was my last not cracked window
Taresseus: Tenebris! Focus
Tenebris: im very focused.
Taresseus: This is the last prophecy I made before I left this plain, heed my warning (a Scroll flies up to him and words start appearing on it)
Taresseus: Though this day is yet to come and I fear the time it does, the keys to victory lay within the descendants of the ones who defeated the darkness. The six clouded only by time. I pray for the future of humanity. Though I cannot see the end I believe it to be very clear. If Esforis and his followers were defeated once they will fall once more, for all time. They must. Be though what it may, the creator gave me this power for a reason, may it help those in the future and prepare them for what is to come. The Oncoming Storm.
Tenebris: (to himself) Is that what the dream was about?
Tenebris: ..What do you want me to do about it?
Taresseus: (intense music playing) you have to face the prophecy (the scroll flies towards Tenebris) and…
Tenebris: (Tenebris throws it back) ( starts walking away. ) Sorry my fight ended a long time ago.
Taresseus: what? I don't think you understand what im asking
Tenebris: I understand, and I said I'm good, find someone else.
Taresseus: you are the only person that can handle this
Tenebris: I've heard this chosen trash before and im not the one (starts leaving)….you owe me a window by the way.
Taresseus: (teleports in front of Tenebris) Tenebris! The importance of this prophecy cannot be understated.
Tenebris: so? Give it to someone else. I'm not the right man for it.
Taresseus: it doesn't matter if you think you're the right or wrong person, it's about what you have been chosen to do.
Tenebris: why me why now! can't you just leave me alone.
Taresseus: Is that really what you want? To be alone forever
Tenebris: YES, I need to be alone! So no one else gets hurt. (his rings glowing)
Taresseus: (stops for a second) If that is really true then I cannot make you do anything. (thinks for a second) But I am still unable to leave this library because my spirit is connected to this place so please. . . (holds out the prophecy)
Tenebris: (all of his rings but one stop glowing)...alright, ill take this to someone worthy of it. (grabs the scroll)
Taresseus: Thank you.
(starts walking dramatically away)(stops)
Tenebris: one last question.
Taresseus: Yes?
Tenebris: how do I get out of here?
Taresseus: (snaps and Tenebris opens his eyes and he is standing outside the library with the scroll in his hand)
Tenebris: (looks up and it starts to rain) *inhales* (looks at the scoll) The oncoming storm…
CHAPTER 2 PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE
Tenebris: (Wakes up and starts packing, he takes a bag with a dagger and supplies, he looks at a sword and a mask hanging on the wall and leaves without them) (Tenebris goes down to the docks and takes a small boat to the edge of the islands waters. He holds the dagger up and it glows letting him pass through the barrier unaffected by the change) He docks at a small town on the edge of the world and walks into the bar)
Jaeja: Tenebris! Is that you, it's been a while.
Tenebris: hey Jaeja how's business
Jaeja: It's all the same here, but seeing you here means there's a reason to celebrate.
Tenebris: how long has it been?
Jaeja: 2 years, come on back (he leads him to the back of the bar into a nice office, gives him a drink)
Jaeja: What brings you to Longra milli, Seeing as you're packed for a journey I suppose you weren't coming to visit an old friend were ya?
Tenebris: Not this time, I'm on a mission
Jaeja: a mission? What brought this on, you haven't been outside here or the island from the island in a couple decades.
Tenebris: I have to give the legionaries this scroll. It's a prophecy I was given on the island.
Jaeja: A prophecy that you were given? I thought that you were the only one living on Tempura?
Tenebris: Taresseus gave it to me
Jaeja: …..no, no Tenebris no, you finally lost it
Tenebris: I know what your going to say
Jaeja: there's no way, this is one of your dreams again
Tenebris: it is not!
Jaeja: Tenebris, the giants are gone, the Kongur have disappeared, THEY ( points at the rings) are not coming back. It's all in the past . Why is this different?
Tenebris: because i have this ( takes out the prophecy)
Jaeja: a scroll?
Tenebris: he said it was the prophecy of the oncoming storm
Jaeja: Well then…what does it say? Tenebris: I….don't remember.
Jaeja: You don't remember so that's important enough now that the legions have to see it!?!
Tenebris: I don't know, something about a OnComing storm or something
Jaeja: Is a storm really that dangerous? So what are the legionaries gonna do about a storm
Tenebris: its not an actual storm its about a war of some kind
Jaeja: This sounds insane to me, but if you're sure this is your path, then who am I to go against it? (Tenebris rings glowing)
Tenebris: That settles it then I'm going to Chelliah (looks up with his eyes glowing two different colors)
Jaeja: What are you doing? Stop that.
Tenebris: Sorry. I'm going to need a ship if im going to Chelliah
Jaeja : (smiles) your crazy you know that (leaves)
Tenebris: yep.
(Tenebris sets sail in Jaeja's trader ship for chelliah)
(cut to tenebris sailing at sunset )
Tenebris: What am I doing out here. What does OnComing storm even mean? (his rings glow) Tenebris: I feel like I've heard of it somewhere before. But where? Ahh (lays back in the bed on the ship) I can't remember yesterday let alone something from that far back. (his rings glow again) well if it is this important that an Anda (dead emotional energy) ghost gave it to me surely there's a reason im on this path, the only problem is where this path might take me. (holds up the rings ) will I have to walk the same path I have before? (lays down) because I don't know if I can. (the camera zooms out to see another ship sailing behind him from a distance)
CHAPTER 3 ANSWER THE CALL
Leo: well well what do we got here?
First mate: captain, it looks like a trader ship, no orku at all.
Leo: Where's the ship heading?
Navigator: cant know for sure
Leo: take us in
(the ship approaches tenebris ship and sends spears into his ship)
Tenebris: WHAT THE! ( stands up ) ( catches a spear and breaks it) pirates.
(they board his ship and he dodges the attacks with inhuman speed and sends them off the into the water)
First mate: I can barely tell whats happening?
Leo: He's moving at crazy speed, but he's not using orku…tell them this one's mine.
First mate: you think we found it?
Leo: only one way to find out
First mate: CAPTAIN ON DECK!
(all the pirates back off and help each other from the water, and Leo's tattoo's start glowing and he jumps onto tenebris ship)
Tenebris: welcome aboard
Leo: Thanks mate, whose ship is this?
Tenebris: not yours
Leo: Ha, Surely you’ve heard how dangerous these waters are
Tenebris: haven't been on the seas in a while maybe you could tell me
Leo: every ship in these waters is under the rule of the dead star pirates! (dashes in and swipes, tenebris dodges and kicks him back as he blocks) ( his eyes glow yellow and he punches the air sending energy blast from his fist at tenebris who dodges barely all while dislodging the spears from the ship. tenebris disappears and appears behind him)
Tenebris: (eyes glow white for a moment) (to himself): no
Leo: You're no legionary, are ya ( fights some more)
Tenebris: never claimed to be one ( Leo pulls a knife and cuts tenebris’ bandaged arm and his eyes glow black and he heals instantly)
Leo: na, you got that black energy, Kongur. (Tenebris Eyes spark a violent light blue) Guess that means I was right.
Tenebris: you know nothing about me (swings around the last spear and kicks him back to the other ship with a burst of red energy blasting the two ships apart sending him forward away)
First mate: cap!
Leo: “hegh” (throws the help off) this ain't over!
(tenebris: turns his back)
Leo: Ha! it's exactly who I thought it was.
First mate: So he's Konger then
Leo: no one else has power like that. The black energy.
First mate: what should we do then
Leo: Report this to Corvis (sees the storm in the distance) he’s not going anywhere soon. take us out.
(on tenebris’ ship)
Tenebris: “hough” “hough” (arm pulses as his eye turns from red to black) Aghh! ( drops to one knee and sees the storm hes going into)
(the camera pans out to see tenebris ship sailing into a storm in the distance and the pirates sailing away)
CHAPTER 4 THE DANGEROUS ROAD
Tenebris is in a raging storm his boat getting tossed around by the waves) ( he gets up and pulls the sails closed and tries to steer)
Tenebris: gggrh! (brakes the wheel) agh! (looks around and sees a light in the distance) alright i got this (he calms down and the storm grows silent as his eyes light up light blue and the water around the ship starts to glow as he directs the ship towards the light) Hang on…hang on…(his right eye flashes black for a moment) AGhH! , just a little longer! (it flashes black again and the ship gets struck by lightning blasting Tenebris back but the ship gets pushed towards the light house Tenebris falls unconscious)
(Tenebris wakes up and he's in a cabin on a ship he gets up and walks out to find a young man sitting next to a fire)
Man: couldn't sleep?
Tenebris: no, I guess I couldn't…(looks around no storm) where are we going?
Man: Barrok.
Tenebris: Barrok! Im not going to barrok i have to get to Chelliah
Man: your mission is in barrok.
Tenebris: My mission!? I think you are confused. My "Mission" is in Chelliah.
Man: maybe one day, but barrok is your mission now.
(it starts raining and the water starts to rise)
Tenebris: I don't think you get to choose ( his eyes glow light blue) huh? (he looks at his hand which is not bandaged and totally normal) What!?
Man: i'm not the one who chooses, im only the messenger. (the waters rise to his neck)
Tenebris: Who are you! (the boat floods and Tenebris goes under water)
Man: you are strong remember that. (The boat sinks and Tenebris wakes up on the shore, the boat crashed on shore and pieces of wood everywhere. He gets up slowly and sees the prophecy next to him. He grabs it and limps towards the town when two men go to help him in from the storm he collapses in their arms and the screen fades)
Kid: Do you think he's dead?
Kid 2: No way he couldn't be dead he's not even injured
Kid: how do you know your not a doctor
Kid 2: But I can see there's nothing wrong with em.
Kid: Maybe there's something wrong with you
Woman: Stop it you two, he was just in a ship wreck he doesn't need you two messing with him.
(Tenebris slowly wakes up)
Kid: He's waking up! (they both get behind blackheart)
Woman: hey, you doing alright?
Tenebris: ghh, yep doing great…who are you?
Blackheart: I'm the mayor of this fine town, well what's left of it at least.
Tenebris: what town is this?
Blackheart: Barrok
Tenebris: Barrok!?
Blackheart: Tell me stranger, why were you trying to sail through these waters?
Tenebris: That's the second time I've been asked that, is there something I am missing?
Blackheart: seeing as though you just woke up from a shipwreck I feel as if you should know.
Tenebris: . . .
Blackheart: the Dead star pirates. They patrol these waters, they attack any ship they find in their waters.
Tenebris: yep that was who attacked me.
Blackheart: if you were attacked by the Dead star pirates and survived, Then you’ve got a target on your back.
Tenebris: lucky me. (notices a crossed out tattoo)(flashes back to a man with the same tattoo but not crossed out )Why do you have that on your arm?
(arthor hides it)(Tenebris narrows his eyes)
Blackheart: (looks at them both) if that storm hadn't come through you'd probably be at the bottom of the sea by now.
Tenebris: if it wasn't for that storm i would be on my way to Chelliah.
Blackheart: with those pirates after you, i don't think you would've made it out of Elvinian waters. but i'm not sure why someone in your condition would be sailing by yourself anyway?
Tenebris: (notices them staring at his bandaged arm and pulls the robe over his arm) well thank you for the concerns, but I have to get going.
Blackheart: Wait, you just got shipwrecked and you're leaving already, you haven't had time to heal.
Tenebris: don't worry im a quick healer.
Blackheart: even if you think you can leave your ship was destroyed when it washed up on shore.
Tenebris: ( stops) if I don't have a ship then I'll just take the tracks. Those are still around right?
Blackheart: still around. . .yeah but all the trains have avoided barrok since their supply never makes it to its correct destination.
Tenebris: the pirates attack the trains too?
Blackheart: anything of value, alongside burning buildings down every time they come through.
Tenebris: what's the bad news?
Blackheart: there's also been reports of a underground organization looking for something here too.
Tenebris: looking for something? or someone.
Blackheart: (angrier) not sure. all I know is it's my job to protect this town, but it seems that's an impossible task recently.
Tenebris: (looks at blackheart and back at arthor and karri) well then, Chelliah can wait until this gang and those pirates are gone.
Blackheart: and how's that going to happen
Tenebris: I'll handle it (his eyes flash light blue)
Karri: this guys sick
Arthor: (smacks his brother upside the dome)
Tenebris: (starts walking out of the room)
Blackheart: (follows him) You really think you can take on those guys by yourself. Even the legionaries and navy have given up.
Tenebris: then it sounds like its a good thing I'm here
Blackheart: did you get brain damage when you crashed, or are you just delusional.
Tenebris: maybe I am, but there must be a reason why both keep coming through here
Blackheart: like I said we were a big port city. they're here for the goods.
Tenebris : Really because one of the pirates said something very interesting
Blackheart: which was
Tenebris: they were looking for Kongur.
Blackheart: Am I supposed to know what that is?
Tenebris: you might not know but maybe your “kids” do.
Blackheart: (eyes light up) why would they know
Tenebris: they had a crossed out tattoo on their arm
Blackheart: your not suggesting what i think you are
Tenebris: I'm not going to fight you, but they are who those pirates are looking for.
Blackheart: (eyes stop glowing) what about you you said their looking for you too
Tenebris: maybe they are… I really have no idea, but I don't think I ended up here by chance
Blackheart: maybe?
Tenebris: Look, I don't know much, but I know those pirates are looking for, your village would be better off if they left.
Blackheart: . . . Their names are Arthor and Karri! They are kids taken running from gang and ended up here. I couldn't turn them away.
Tenebris: so they are Kongur…
Blackheart: who is that?
Tenebris: A very dangerous gang of assassins
Blackheart: But they're just kids. they haven't done anything wrong.
Tenebris: nothing that you know of, and it doesn't matter if their kids or not they are trained to be assassins, you have no idea what they're capable of.
Blackheart: (thinks for a while) that doesn't matter there under my protection.
Tenebris: if that's your decision I won't go against it. (starts leaving)
Blackheart: wait where are you going!?
Tenebris: I can only guess that those pirates are after them, but I know they're after me so I'll give them what they want. (leaves)
