As Decretum sits on his throne within the realm of Umbrea, he can feel his skull shattering as he screams in pain. He immediately falls off his throne onto the ground, suffering in pain. Why is it painful? Why does he feel pain again? What is this emotion? Why can he feel himself again? What is this sensation...

His minions would look while some hurried to their Lord as he tried to figure out what was happening to him, some wanted to help him get up, and eventually, as they attempted to help him, they would quickly drop to the ground as they were cut in half, as they all let go Decretum and forced to kneel before him as a rift opens before him and through that rift revealed a man cladded in plate armor, its design appeared not mesalian either they bear so sigil of their origin, as Decretum looked at the Knight before him, he can see that this one is no mere mortal. He senses it is Guiden's influence, but yet. It's not his.

"Who are you?" he said, struggling to get up. As he tried to summon his sword from his grasp, the opposing Knight already had his blade at his neck. "You had struggled for your entire life as you walked forward. Your heart screamed vengeance, but you maintained yourself and remembered your duty." The Knights raised the blade, forcing Decretum to look at him. "Your actions may be deemed evil, but you did it in the name of balance, Cyrenthil." They sighed as he heard more of his minions roar as they rushed towards him.

"I am granting you a second chance." He said as he turned to meet the new enemy rushing towards him. As he stepped forward, disappearing in the blink of an eye as he dashed towards the enemy, the first Bonereaver appeared before it and quickly mutilated the first one it saw before it could defend itself, followed by an undead juggernaut swinging its mace downward before being evaded quickly by the Knight. He dashed backward before turning around and commencing a counterattack, swinging its blade upward as it left a mark against the juggernaut. The gap it made would explode and destroy the remains of what was left of the juggernaut.

Seeing his minions are dying for him, Decretum would stand up. Slowly and summoning his blade once more, he gazed at the Knight. Seeing the Knight was about to finish the next one, Decretum jumped into the fray as he switched places with it, meeting the Knight's blade with his. As both blades connected, it created a shockwave within the realm as both swords clashed. "What have you done to me?" Before it could explain the situation, Decretum began his counterattack as another blade hit the Knight from behind. Feeling the hit, the Knight cloaked himself in shadow, dispersing from the place. Looking at the new opponent, he was surprised to see that this one bore a symbol of Tyr, a fallen angel perhaps. It quickly hurried to protect its weakened Lord, covering him with its wings as they scanned their surroundings.

"This whole time I seek to find you, and that influence is what allows me to get to you personally." The Knight would appear in front of him. Decretum judged it to be 60 feet, enough to summon his next General to distract him, waiting for their move to attack. "I am trying to free you from his grasp, Cyrenthil. You bear the sake of balance and are tasked to handle Balaayo's influence here. My Father would not care if you die here, for you are just a Pawn to him that he can throw!" Decretum would slowly peek his head out of his General's wings to look at him, his Father. His Lord bore fruit and had a son? This has to be a joke.

"I do not remember my Lord having a son, yet I sense his influence from you, but you are not under his control." Each time Decretum walks in a circle, so does his bodyguard, ensuring that most of Decretum's body is covered with its wings. "Prove to me that you are indeed his son, deceiver. Only followers of Skaed will do such things to trick me." Decretum says as he slowly closes in, that there is enough range to call in his Generals if he doesn't get an answer fitting.

"I am merely just a clone of him, his true son had fallen Eons before you had worship him, I asked him a question on what happened to his son but he didn't answered it, he just smiled and avoided that topic everytime I bring it back." The Knight says before sheathes his blade back to its scabbard, staying and keeping an eye on Decretum. "He had lost his ways and you know it, I know you wish to find your own path but you cannot for you are bounded to him, but not anymore, I can set you free, free of his link, I am just a less existing God compared to my father, but I have enough power and the knowledge to remove that bind and truly give you a freedom that you wished." The Knight would flick his finger, revealing the Beacon from Decretum as he saw a light glowing orb in his chest, which beat in a rhythm similar to a heartbeat.

Decretum recalled previous memories, such as the death of Kaelin and his oath to Zimmerman. He is so close to achieving it as he contemplates his decision. "Why do you want me to be freed specifically?" Decretum said in a low tone as he stood there. "You have suffered and endured. You have handled the knowledge of things that should not be revealed. I am merely a God with no Champions, only a few Clerics and Paladins, and all I carry is my knowledge and steel. I want you to serve me and help me build my Order." Order.. It echoes in the back of his mind that his last Order was given to Zimmerman, a stronger Blackguard, who maintained the culture they originally stood for.

"You know who I am, but may I ask whom do I speak to?" Decretum would gently push the wings aside as he walked through, and his angel would raise their hand toward him. "My Lord, please let me protect you-" "That is not needed anymore. If he truly wishes to harm me, he could have killed me there on the spot on my throne while I suffered on the ground." Decretum says, cutting him off. The fallen angel wishes to speak back but remembers this is his Lord, as it sighs, staying by his Lord's side without a word. "My name is Aeron, Son of Guiden. Or perhaps you can say, his second son, I have been tutored by him and given me all of the knowledge he knew, after seeing what has become of him and his followers I swore to hide any knowledge deemed not worth in the hands of mortals and ensure the perfect balance between life and death." As Aeron revealed himself, he would bow towards Decretum before Decretum responded in a Mesalian salute. "Granted you brought me my.. Humanity back, this 'boon' I am granted is not without risk, allow me to ponder on this decision before I tell you my reponse, for now." A portal would appear before him, showing a familiar figure, Nana."A certain individual needs my assistance, if you do not mind. By the time I see you once more you will have your answer." With that, he sat back on his throne and looked at the portal. Aeron would nod before disappearing in pure darkness, leaving Decretum, and his General would disappear too, returning to their rightful place and waiting for the day they are returned.
