About Me

I'm Rin, queer storyteller and aspiring otherworldly entity based near Boston, Massachusetts. The other nerd to my name is my husband, my #1 biggest fan.   While books are my main love, I adore good stories in all forms and spend much of my free time playing video games. Either that, or wrangling CSS into doing something World Anvil really doesn't want it to do.  

My Work

All my work is human-made, including anything I've commissioned from someone else.   My primary WA World is a grounded science-fiction setting used with the Stars Without Number TTRPG system. It's been nominated Most Beautiful World and won Best World in 2026.   I also have a variety of side projects, including:

• Rin's Overworld, which contains event hubs and how-to guides.
• Su-mehr Qiamp, a short-term project from 2025 featuring ghosts and rivers, some of which are angry sometimes.
• You Are Here Now, for information on the novels I'm writing.
• The World is Dead, an epistolary worldbuilding project I'm working on this summer.
• Lastly, I help with World of Worlds, a project by Annie Stein to create more ways to share your World and find others to follow.
